Meet Film Femmes, one of the filmmaking teams from this year's Summer Media Intensive. In four weeks, these young storytellers will explore NYC and learn every step of the filmmaking process. Their experimental documentary explores the lives of immigrants in the US through the lens of three women.
Featured in the film is Aniuska, who is not only sharing her personal story but is also a participant in this summer's program taught by her instructor, Jesse. Through documentary filmmaking, students are learning that some of the most powerful stories are the ones closest to home.
