1. Hi I have just finished your comebackigan for the March to may KAL, I love it! I have seen that some people reinforce button bands on cardigans. This is my first time knitting a cardigan, is this something worth considering for the comebackigan?do you reinforce your button bands? Thanks so much, I love this podcast and Im really enjoying your sewing shares also x
2. Hi! I just love all of your drop shoulder sweaters, and I'm currently making my mom one in hopes that she loves it too! She has a much larger bust than I do, and has mentioned that the front of her sweaters rides up at the bottom, so I would love to try adding bust darts to this sweater. I’m knitting the weekender crew for her, and I'm curious: since this is worked bottom up, could I just add more length to the front when I separate front and back, and adjust the sleeves to compensate? I assume there will be short row shaping in the back, can I just knit the back exactly to pattern and adjust the front for more bust room? Thanks for your help! 3. You’ve talked about redistributing stitches in a circular yoke to accommodate a fuller bust, but I don’t think you’ve talked about whether that’s possible on drop shoulder sweaters, like your Traveler or your Vellichor (both of which I’ve made and love!). If they’re knit bottom up, could you “just” allocate more stitches for the front than the back when you split at the underarm? Could you do it when they’re knit top down? 4. Hi Andrea! I just finished a traveler hoodie for March to May - got it in just under the wire! I've never blocked anything with a hood.... Do you have any advice on how to do that? Thanks!!
5. Handmade wardrobes tell such a story over time. As your tastes evolve, how do you approach older knits that don’t quite match your current style anymore? Are there pieces you’ll always treasure even if you no longer wear them?
