Welcome to I’ll Knit (& Spin!) If I want To! I asked y’all to send in some of your questions (from everything from fiber arts, to designing and on!) so I could put together a little video for y’all every Friday doing my best to answer your questions!

In this week’s episode we cover:
1. Hi Andrea! Love your videos, they are so helpful. My question: I love your comebackigan cardigan for the V neck collar and the drk everyday cardi for the simple stitch pattern. How could I hack the two patterns together to make the v neck in a drk everyday cardi? Thank you!
2. Hi Andrea, I bought your drk sweater cardigan pattern which I love. I got the yarn started swatching and my gauge is way off so I went up to a size 7 needle but I think its not structured enough. I feel i have bought the wrong yarn its a delaine merino its really soft could I put maybe a suri since I am not a fan of mohair to try and get a better gauge or get a more woolly yarn. Help
3. Hi Andrea! I recently bought a sweater's quantity of Spincycle Trine and I'm thinking about making another Weekender. The last Weekender I made is about 6 years old now and while I still absolutely love it, I've been thinking about modification I might want to make to the new since my personal style has evolved over the last 6 years. For instance, I'm thinking about making it with slightly less ease than the recommended 10" and maybe making the the body shorter? You have such a great sense of style, I'd love to hear what you would do if you were to knit a Weekender now. Are there any modifications you would make to make it more in line with you current preferences.
4. I love your patterns and the detail instructions and all the help you provide in this podcast.
I’m making the Tessellated Pullover and am having trouble with the long tail tubular cast on. I have trouble keeping the cast on stitches straight since they tend to twist on the circular needle. Any suggestions on not accidentally twisting the cast on stitches?
My next question is on the set up rows. I noticed that I occasionally have “holes” in this section. Am I doing something wrong?
5. Hi Andrea - I love your patterns! I have a summer Stripes! in linen and a Big Cozy Cardi on my needles right now. I’ve loved knitting and wearing many of your patterns, but I haven’t knit one in Brooklyn Tweed yarn yet. With the sad news of BT no longer producing their own yarn lines, I’m wondering what is your recommendation of which of your patterns I should knit in Brooklyn Tweed yarn. I can only afford one sweater quantity right now and I can’t decide on which yarn or pattern. Any suggestions are appreciated!!

6. Okay, your new cardigan release is perfection! I've been dreaming of a cardigan with similar texture to the Gib Raglan, and your new release ticks all the boxes-so thank you! I'm thinking that I may like having more hidden pockets rather than patch pockets: would that be possible? If so, how would I do that? I'm so eager to get started!
