Ikea has made a lot of gains makng the smarthome products accessible and affordable for the general public. One ting they were definitely missing though was a smart plug. The Ikea Tradfri Control outlet fills that gap in true Ikea fashion. It's not the shiniest or most feature plug on the market. But it does what it say it's going to do at a affordable price. The one thing I was disappointed about was the lack of Homekit support at release. I was able to test both the Amazon Alexa and GoogleHome integrations and both worked perfectly. Really hoping that Ikea shows some Homekit love soon!
