First game that isn't doujin or CAVE, I think, on my channel? :P And it's a really cool shmup, too! Awesome gameplay and mechanics, and graphically the most beautiful bullet hell game I've played so far.
I can NM every stage but due to a few derp deaths I had to do pretty much half of the run on 0 extra lives. The tension was real! :P
The stage 3 boss and the first section of stage 4 are the usual sources of derp deaths for me, and they happened in this run too.
I learned a decent scoring route on stage 1 (in order to get grade A) but I didn't bother learning scoring routes for the rest of the run (besides stage 5), focusing on survival. It's probably kind of cringeworthy to watch such gameplay for people who are really good at this game. xD I did try to score on stage 5 on this run though, but I messed up my chain. Oh well. (I can do grade A on that stage as well. the chain actually almost always goes well on practice runs. ;_; ) Still happy with the run since it's my first Ikaruga 1cc. :D Normal will follow in the future! And maybe even Hard at some point. Oh and I had 19.9 hours of play time put into the game once I got this Easy 1cc. :P Easy might not seem worth uploading given I have Touhou Lunatic 1ccs and stuff, but Ikaruga is a very puzzly game; it takes a while to figure out all of the routes you need to survive its patterns, even on Easy. Normal just adds suicide bullets, that only spawn when you kill an enemy of the same polarity, and Hard adds suicide bullets that /always/ spawn.
As usual with my videos there is a bit of lag on certain sections, sadly. It only seems to be the case on the stage 3 boss and stage 4 though. There is no lag during the actual gameplay.
Stage 1 0:00 Eboshidori 2:09
Stage 2 3:08 Buppousou 6:35
Stage 3 7:28 Uzura 11:29
Stage 4 13:40 Misago 18:54
Stage 5 20:46 Tageri (Final Boss) 21:52
Stone-Like (TLB) 23:49
