Comparing the GMKTec EVO-X1 using just its integrated Radeon 890M graphics to the AD-GP1 external GPU over Oculink.
AMD's integrated graphics are good enough these days that, some say, you don't even need to think about entry level graphics cards any more. However, many devices which sport these Radeon 890M GPUs can also support an external GPU, like this integrated unit featuring an 8GB Radeon RX 7600M XT. How much benefit is there from this kind of EGPU over one of the better iGPUs around, and is it worth the cost?
