As a screenwriter, I'm sure I'm not the only one who has a talent for procrastinating actually sitting down to write a screenplay. Well, in this video, I made the most of a 4-day active writing retreat and I was amazed by what I was able to accomplish. I use an active writing routine in this video. It was a game-changer!

Today, I'm incredibly excited to share with you an unforgettable experience I had recently. I embarked on an active screenwriting retreat, diving headfirst into the beautiful intersection of movement and storytelling. For a dedicated period of time, I stepped away from the hustle and bustle of daily life, immersing myself in the serenity of a walk outside, while honing my screenwriting skills.
Throughout this retreat, I pushed my creative boundaries, embraced sunshine and movement, and challenged myself to craft compelling narratives. From yoga, HITT workouts, and even pilates to finding moments of solitude for uninterrupted writing sessions, every aspect of this journey fueled my passion for screenwriting.

I have 2, 25 minutes session, followed by 20-30mins of movement, and then I jump back into another 2 sessions, again, 20-30 mins of movement fill the gap before I enter my last 25 minute session.
Jumping between projects in different phases works for me. Then the exercise and fresh air is a welcomed break between the sessions.
