Somehow this game slipped under my radar until very recently, it's so damn pretty and fun! The menus are weird to get used to but not a big deal after a while. I need to get into the habit of checking audio levels after I adjust the volume, the game sounds are definitely too quiet in this one.
ASTRAL ASCENT is a platform roguelite with fast combat and utterly gorgeous art style. Seems to have pretty deep PERMANENT PROGRESSION too.
ROGUE DESCENDANTS is a series where I go down my list of unplayed roguelike / roguelites and give them 1 hour of my time. Lots of judgmental first impressions and mini reviews ahead.
