The front cover is a single layer painting (for the most part) with just 2 paintbrush-like brushes, trying to make it look as hand-painted as possible. The back cover uses a lot of digital tools and came together much faster.
Music is from the soundtrack for this childhood game called "Magic & Mayhem". The track has been in my hard drive backups since I was a kid. Turns out the band, Afro Celt Sound System, is still active! Here's a link to their channel:
