The Evangelical Right often pushes for theocratic domination while pretending to stand for freedom, ward off persecution, or defend long-standing American traditions. But guess what? If you remove direct references to Christianity from the topic of discussion, these same activists would have to ask, "Which religion are we talking about?" And the fact that they need to know this demonstrates that the policies they're proposing would not apply to everybody. They're not pushing for equality but for laws that explicitly allow them to dominate others.
