Whats up dudes, Ishii here back on FBW bringing you a Halo 3/4 Montage/Funtage put together by IExeyy entitled "Bliss".
The intro was very creative using the spartan's mask and background angles to signify different things going on with the different clips. The only thing that felt weird was there was no credit to IExeyy in the beginning, let alone, no text or anything to tell what the video was going to be about.
This overall video definitely captures what Halo should be about: Fun. The gameplay was up to par with standards and the variety of funtage clips made the overall video very enjoyable. I feel like there are very few people that can actually pull off enjoyable 11 minute funtages, but IExeyy definitely pulled it off with his great GP. I'd give this an 8/10 due to variety and moments that made me laugh myself. I hope his GP does that to you too.
The editing was very smooth, yet simple for the electronic/EdM song provided by IExeyy. I actually enjoy chill editing to that type of music, making the GP speak for itself. The angle work was very smooth throughout the montage and the transitions to the Live moments were sexy as well. The one thing that somewhat irked me were the song fade away transitions. Most of them were okay, but just as I was getting pumped up in certain sections, the song would just fade away, leaving me blue balled. Overall tho, very nice. 7.25/10
Good funtages are seen rarely nowadays especially at this length, but IExeyy definitely pulls this one off as I personally enjoyed it throughout its entirety. I hope you do too.
