Just prospecting a few hours out of town in a small creek. We were able to set up our high banker and dig some amazing pay dirt. This is some of the richest dirt I have seen in a long time. We ran about a quarter yard of dirt and has some amazing gold. We also has so many garnets the black sands looked purple. The pump was pulling water out of the near by creek while we shoveled the gold bearing dirt through the high banker. after getting everything set up the kids were able to shovel some dirt through. The gold was not huge like they find up in the Alaska Yukon, but for around here it was good. the sluice box worked great and picked up even the finest gold.
