I finished my "Melt the ICE" protest hat. When I went to show it, two others said they were working on theirs also. Even more said they are planning to knit one. Knitting has often been used to make political statements and this hat was used to protest Nazi's in Norway and is being brought back as a means to protest the horrors that ICE is inflicting on our neighbors and friends.
Of course this was just a small part of the meeting and as usual the group shared a lot more.
