In accordance with the mandate received from the Economic and Monetary Community of Central Africa (CEMAC), INTERPOL has successfully completed the extension of INTERPOL’s secure global communications network (I-24/7) to all forty of the planned sites.
Over 250 border control agents have been trained in all project countries combined, and the National Central Bureaus of Cameroon, Chad, Congo, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea and the Central African Republic have equally been modernized in the project countries.
