Its ice time! In today's episode I am showing my almost redstone-less, AFKable (providing you have lots of diamond picks), and very, very server friendly ice farm. The farm will make sure that you also never loose your pickaxes.
For minecaft 1.14 and above - you need to have shorter water player pushing sections, see download for details.
Perfect for getting that ice to craft to packed ice and then blue ice.

In todays musical (a.k.a. the episode) of our survival minecraft series we attempt many tasks including special way of upgrading the world to 1.12 to obtain parrots in the existing jungle, fixing a few bugs on the way, setting up a nether mob switch in the nether, finishing up the passive mob farm and finding a unique way to bring all the loot from the witch farm which is 40000 blocks away from spawn.
I had to split the poll into two sections since you could only add 5 per poll.
Errata: Permanent fires in the End are on bedrock not obsidian.
