ICE attacked an observer after they tailed a group of clergy on a spiritual pilgrimage.
While thousands and thousands of Minnesotans prepared to march and demand that ICE leave their state, agents were still on the hunt. This time, a group of ICE agents had turned their sights on a group of clergy participating in a spiritual pilgrimage from George Floyd Square to Renée Good’s memorial. Our digital producer @sam.vp just so happened to be with the clergy on their journey.
He spoke with the observer who was attacked and others who witnessed the assault. “I knew what was happening in the cities, but I didn't know the extent.” social worker and street medic Anice Chenault said.
