The day after the storm. Two interesting clips I wanted to share.
Clip 1: Going over the Alex Fraser and a chunk of ice falls from the top of the bridge, smashing onto my windshield. Thankfully it hit the corner where most of the impact was taken by the frame of the car. Had it been in the middle of the windshield, there would have definitely been at least a crack from the size and speed it was going at.
Clip 2: The snow, mixed with rain, turned into ice overnight. I was able to scrape all the snow/ice off my windshield with a scraper but was worried that I might damage my paint so I didn't scrape too deep into the roof. Plus, I couldn't reach the middle of the roof. I did manage to scrape off about 1/3 of the roof before heading out in the morning. After a whole day and 100km worth of driving, I guess the ice finally melted enough. One bump and it all came crashing down. At least it came crashing in front, rather than behind where it could have possibly hit another car.
