Akihiko is an IB alumnus from UWC South East Asia (Singapore). Since graduating in 1987, he became the third Japanese astronaut to go to space, and is set to be Commander of the International Space Station in 2020 for his third space flight. Akihiko is working for the Japanese Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), and is based in NASA’s Johnson Space Centre in Houston, Texas, USA.
The music for this film was composed by Patrick Vu, an IB graduate from Allen High School (Texas, USA) and is currently studying at Texas Christian University (USA).
