For more than 30 years, Fire Chief Amy Ramon has served the residents of Cypress-Fairbanks, Texas in the Cy-Fair Fire Department. Working her way through the ranks to become chief – she now oversees more than 500 members of the department while also advocating for and promoting the fields of fire science and EMS. She is the 2026 IAFC Career Chief of the Year and she’s taken the time to sit down with IAFC TV.
