This old screened porch is finally starting to come back to life. After repairing the damaged framing, I'm enclosing the lower half with beadboard, sealing everything up, painting, and reinstalling the screens.
This is the second chapter of my screened porch rescue, and this time we're finally getting past the repairs and into the part I've been waiting for: making it beautiful. Reinstalling the existing screening system with new screen and spline. Along the way, I'm sharing a few things I learned the hard way, including why I changed how I primed the exterior panels and what I'd do differently next time.
