Day two in Thailand, and I wanted to do something simple and thoughtful. After a long travel day getting here, I thought it would be the perfect time to slow things down and treat April to a relaxing experience. A massage, a hair treatment, a little reset after the road.

The only problem? I wasn’t sure she’d go for it unless I made it look like I needed something too… so I did.

What started as a calm plan quickly turned into one of those moments travel is famous for. I was worried about her getting lost in a new place after her spa treatment — but Thailand had other plans, and somehow I ended up being the one wandering around instead.
