After weeks of appointments, uncertainty, and unexpected changes to the surgery schedule, April's operation is finally behind us.
In this update, I share what happened during the procedure, what the doctors found, and how everything turned out. While the surgery was successful, there was one unexpected development that means April will need a little more recovery time in the hospital than we originally anticipated.
We're incredibly grateful for the medical team, the support we've received, and most importantly that April is doing well. This has been an emotional journey, and we're relieved to finally be looking forward instead of worrying about what might happen.
