I was exploring the quiet churchyard of St Gwenfaen's in Rhoscolyn, Wales when the silence was suddenly shattered by an insane low-pass flight!
Beyond the unexpected flyover, this churchyard holds some of the most moving and tragic maritime history in the region. In this video, I take a moment to pay my respects at the memorial of a Lifeboat Disaster, honoring those lost in a 1920 incident.
I also discover the final resting places of sailors shipwrecked nearby—including a crew of member of a vessel that traveled all the way from Baltimore USA only to meet a tragic end on its way to Liverpool.
