Whispers of History: Lord Harlech and the Kennedy's.
I visit a small churchyard near Harlech in Wales which has three notable graves. One of the people burried there is David Ormsby Gore (Lord Harlech) who was the British Ambassador to the USA during the Kennedy administration. President Kennedy refered to him as "Our kind of Ambassador". Ormsby Gore would later be romantically linked to Jackie Kennedy and when he died in 1985 she attended his funeral.
Also burried in the same cemetery is a Cult leader from the 1700's and a writter who had a novel made into a Hollywood film.
