If you watch a lot of my videos you’ve probably heard me mention The Binding of Isaac at some point, and the fact that it’s my favorite video game of all time. So you already know the long awaited next game from the mind of Edmund McMillian had me incredibly excited. Believe it or not, I genuinely still remember when that first Mewgenics teaser came out all the way back in 2012. Unfortunately, the game was cancelled at that time. But now, nearly a decade and a half later, the project has been revived and it’s finally here. In my playtime so far, I can happily say Edmund and Tyler’s tactical cat roguelike has hit all the marks I hoped it would.
