One of the best engagement tricks I use in class is taking something students already know and turning it into meaningful discussion.
For our Tuesdays with Morrie unit, we played a classroom version of “Truth or Dare” that pushed students to reflect, open up, laugh, and have real conversations.
This is the kind of stuff students actually remember years later.
