This drink is called What Plants Crave. Itās a clarified THC cocktail made with Nowadays and a very unserious inspiration: Idiocracy. I wanted to see how clarification (turning Brawndo back into something that looks like water) changes flavor, texture, and THC in a cocktail.
I walk through the full recipe, explain the clarification process, and talk honestly about how the clarified version affected me compared to the unclarified one.
What Plants Crave Recipe
2 oz / 60 ml Nowadays (13.3 mg if using 10 mg bottle, 6.6 mg if using 5mg bottle)
2 oz / 60 ml Brawndo / Gatorade / Powerade (Lemon lime flavor - amzn.to/4qVxZJM )
.75 oz / 22 ml Ginger syrup (Liber & Co - amzn.to/4b8Pphs )
.5 oz / 15 ml Lime juice
.75 oz / 22 ml Black tea, strong (Ahmad Tea - amzn.to/4b2wZyV )
If you want to clarify it, stir it. If you want to drink it without clarifying, you can shake and either open pour or strain over fresh ice (good either way)
