In about 5 hours, I created a pretty cool Gaussian Splatting scene for use inside @UnrealEngine 5 using @RealityScanOfficial 2, @Volinga Suite, and their UE5 plugin.
One of the most impressive things about this workflow is the ability to relight the scene and work with depth of field. Not to mention that everything runs in real time!
Here’s my workflow:
1. Captured footage using the @BlackmagicDesignOfficial Camera app on my phone (4 min 30 sec video).
2. Used RealityScan 2 to align 6,492 images (~4 hours). RealityScan automatically extracts frames from the video as PNG files.
3. Exported the data from RealityScan as COLMAP.
4. Imported the COLMAP data into Volinga Studio to train the Gaussian Splatting scene. For this test, I used 300,000 iterations (~1 hour).
5. Opened the trained Gaussian Splatting scene inside Unreal Engine 5 using the Volinga UE5 plugin.
I tested Volinga a few years ago, and it has improved a lot since then. It was great to revisit it.
Thanks to María Mederos Cabrera for the support and for letting me know about the new features 🙌
I'm using a Dell Pro Max Tower T2 workstation equipped with an NVIDIA RTX Pro 6000 Blackwell GPU with 96GB of VRAM (600W Workstation Edition).

![Ill be giving away FREE Motion Capture Packs for an ENTIRE YEAR!
[EN] During my journey, I’ve received help (and still do) from many creators — and now it’s time to give back to the creator community.
Starting in March, I’ll be releasing one motion capture pack per month for an entire year. This is a pilot project and may be extended.
I’ll be using @RokokoMotion technology, powered by a Dell Pro Max Tower T2 workstation equipped with an NVIDIA RTX Pro 6000 Blackwell with 96 GB of VRAM.
A huge thank you to Dell Technologies and NVIDIA for providing the gear! Thanks Logan, Cindy and Crystal.
I’d also like to thank my partner, Josi, for always believing in me and supporting my ideas — even the crazy ones.
