This isn't the first time I've rounded over the inside edges of a miter joint, but it is probably the first time that I've done it intentionally, and without swearing immediately after. These frames are going to be used as doors on some suggestion boxes, and I wanted to add some additional detail without detracting from the already pleasing combination of purpleheart and beech. The whole process probably added two or three hours to the project, including testing the cut, extra sanding, extra caution when gluing, and some extra work when finishing, but since I'm doing this project for fun, I'm happy to trade some time for a unique outcome.
