I'm from a Japan and today, I’m testing 3 of Singapore’s most popular solo yakiniku restaurants to find out which one is actually the best.
I asked my Instagram followers - mostly Singaporeans - which solo yakiniku place they like the most, and Yakiniku LIKE clearly came out on top. But as a Japanese living in Singapore for 7 years… do I agree?

2. Yakiniku-GO
3. Yakiniku Shokudo
I compare the meat quality, value, variety, sauce, vibe, rice, sides and overall experience to decide which solo yakiniku spot I would personally choose.
Yakiniku LIKE is the original Japanese solo yakiniku concept.
Yakiniku GO is Singapore’s local answer to it.
Yakiniku Shokudo is the halal option and offers something different from the others.
So which one is actually worth your money?
