Me: Has a ton of MEP parts and a round one video to work on
Also me: Decides to finally binge watch She-Ra and then edit a video for it
Clearly I have MY priorities in order hahahahahahahahaha.
Hello yes I have FINALLY succumbed to the peer pressure of watching this show and….yeah I got sucked in almost immediately. It surprised me way more than I thought it would and I really enjoyed it. As for Catradora, I’ve known about the ship since the series first started airing and I didn’t think much of them because A) I didn’t watch the show and B) I’m not a big fan of love/hate ships. But THEN the ship became CANON and that’s what prompted me to see the show for myself. Admittedly I didn’t start shipping it until season 5 (since thats the season where the writers clearly started to focus on the romance) because seasons 1-4 mostly focused on Adora and Catra’s conflict and fallout. Which I liked a lot, but I also liked seeing them repair that relationship! The ship isn’t perfect, but for what it is I think it’s pretty solid! And I FINALLY got my magic space lesbians! Hell yeah!
As for the video, the moment after I finished the finale (and cried over said magic space lesbians) I knew I had to make a vid for these two! I dug through a lot of songs and came across this one that I’ve been wanting to edit with for a good few months now. I was honestly surprised to see how well it fit these two, but it was a good surprise to be sure! Also I literally edited this in ONE DAY. I think that’s the fasted I’ve editing something in a while. Enjoy!

Day 789 of “I still think about Merlin a lot as a show and how deeply it has inspired me in terms of master class storytelling”
Hello! Im sorry for my recent absence! Im currently am in the last few weeks of my semester and WOO. Its been kicking. My. ASS. On top of that some recent technical difficulties came up whiiiccchhh is not. Great. Its not great uhhh but hopefully itll be resolved soon. So in the mean time heres this MEP part I finished a few weeks ago for my lovely friend Anne!
A couple years ago, I used these two as the animated face claims for Arthur and Gwen from BBC’s Merlin for a MEP Part and now anytime I edit with them or think of them that’s just what I associate them with. SO in occurrence with this MEP which is another Bridgerton MEP about longing and such (I swear I haven’t watched this show these songs are just pretty), I went with my favorite type of longing: separated by social class! Which meant taking inspo from Merlin which then eventually lead to this kinda AU swap idea I had where Arthur’s the servant and Gwen’s the princess. Obviously I didn’t think too hard about it for this specific video I just thought it was cute with these characters and I wanted to use Tiana in her blue dress more. Plus Tiana in other pretty dresses because she looks fantastic in them this woman seriously rocks every look. Enjoy!
