started painting the old shipping container… then I got completely carried away.
What began as a quick makeover using an Erbauer airless paint sprayer turned into repainting the faded container, spraying black barn paint, testing the finish on uPVC doors and generally seeing just how good this setup could actually look.
In this video I use an airless paint sprayer with water-based acrylic barn paint to transform an old weathered container into something far more usable — while also sharing a few things I learned along the way.
The container had become badly faded over time and honestly looked pretty rough, so I wanted to see if spraying it black would actually improve the overall look of the site. Safe to say the transformation surprised me.
