In this video, I tackle the challenge of unloading a massive vintage Rapidor Manchester power hacksaw, also known as a donkey saw, all by myself. This cast iron beast is incredibly heavy, so I had to get creative to safely remove it from my van. Using an engine crane and a ramp, I managed to unload the machine without any help.

Once the power hacksaw was on solid ground, I ran a test to see if this vintage machine still had what it takes to cut through metal like it did decades ago. If you’re into old machinery, vintage tools, or just enjoy seeing some DIY problem-solving, this video is for you!

Watch as I walk you through the process of unloading, setting up, and testing this powerful piece of equipment. You’ll also get a closer look at the Manchester Raptor itself—a real gem of old-school engineering.
