It's insane how I feel like the universe is following my direction, but it's not going to the direction that I want the rest of the world to go to. And yet, here it is anyway. I sold all my PlayStation 4 Slims, and I put the physical copies of the games in the market. Great timing, right? Absolutely great timing for this one, right?
Yes, I had two PlayStation 4 Slims. I had one for my brother that he used to play Persona 5 and Persona 5 Royal, and I had one for myself to play Persona 5 God of War 2018 when I was in college. Both games are absolutely fantastic, and both games eventually went to PC anyway. It was worth it at the time, but in the long term, I'm playing mostly on PC, and that's when I can play. I mostly work these days on PC, and the PS5 is ridiculously expensive for something that I barely do nowadays.
Anyway, I sold them for $139 each, and I got them sold in one day. They are still incredibly valuable here in Indonesia, especially being sold at that crazy price. The PS4s are incredibly valuable for people that want to open up a PlayStation rental service, which they still do to this day here in Indonesia. They even offer them in these play boxes where they literally have a customized briefcase and put a whole ass monitor and PlayStation in it.
So, while I didn't get the full investment of my two PS4 back, I got half, and that's way better than gathering dust in my living room.
