Apparently so!

Byron- A.K.A Barnacles’ ex (No one can tell me that Barnacles ain’t gay).

When Barnacles decided to become an Octonaut, Byron insisted that it would be a waste of time. Barnacles still decided to pursue it. Due to this, Byron started to get angry. He never got physical, but he did yell. A lot. It would scare Barnacles and he wouldn’t want to leave the ship. Eventually they did break up.
