Context:
Although Cybertronians tend to have a sense of honour when it comes to their scars, sometimes they act as harsh reminders as to who and what you’ve lost as the consequence of war. This is particularly the case for leaders. Each scar brings a certain level of bravery but is a constant reminder of failure.

On particularly hard days when scars keep reminding Optimus of those he’s failed, Ratchet helps by covering them with one of Optimus’ favourite things. Stars!
