One year ago, I made a series of predictions about Diablo 4 Expansion 2, from the new class to the release date, systems like set items and endgame, and Blizzard’s overall direction.
Now that we finally have answers with Lord of Hatred, it’s time to go back, check the receipts, and score how accurate those predictions really were.
Some of these I got right.
Some of them… not even close.
But more importantly, what Blizzard actually did with Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred tells us a lot about the future of Diablo 4 - and where the game is really heading next.
