Is your car a soggy mess every morning? Between wet dogs and football practice, our family Ford Kuga has become a damp, smelly swamp with a windscreen that takes 20 minutes to clear. In this "forefront of science" experiment, I pit the Ebac 4850 21L compressor dehumidifier against the Meaco DD8L desiccant model to see which will dry out our car. I measure the wattage, the electricity cost, and the actual millilitres of water collected over 10 hours in cold conditions. The results are surprising!
