I put a waterproof camera inside my dishwasher to show how it works!

Regarding the "turbidity gremlins," I'm referring to the fact that a turbidity sensor can get a more accurate reading of the amount of turbidity in the water if you DON'T rinse your dishes first! So long as you scrape off anything larger than the size of a grain of rice, leaving crumbs, sauces, and other remnants can yield more consistent cleaning results.
