But before we could decorate, we needed to paint. Since I can't do anything the easy way, I decided to paint a mural inspired by the facade of It's A Small World in Disneyland. Originally designed by Mary Blair, it had that mid-century modern look I wanted. It was just a matter of actually making it happen...in less than a week...
