Hey everyone! During my 14-day quarantine I came up with this idea: I'm going to hire an artist on the Internet, so I can talk to him/her. I want to know more about how they make a living selling art commissions online.
Where to find them? I headed straight to Taobao, the the world largest marketplace for products AND services. So it's like Amazon with Fiverr combined.
I have 3 cats, which creates 3 opportunities for me to order 3 different commissioned art. In this video, I will be showing you my first order. Although I have been on Taobao for 17 years, it's my first time ordering a service on Taobao.

Here is my 'shopping' experience and the results. What do you think?
P.S. My goal was not to be an art critic of any sorts. I am here to experience. That's why I didn't want to comment on the artist particular skills. At the time when this video was filmed, I had not seen the sketches or final artwork. This illustration was made by an artist named Yu on Taobao. She has 3 year full time experience working on Taobao.
