In today’s video, I’m diving into some wild gel plate experiments using acrylic paint and alcohol ink — two mediums that don’t normally play nice together! I start by letting watery acrylics bead up on the plate, then splash in alcohol ink and isopropyl alcohol to see what happens. The reactions are incredible — textures, patterns, and effects I never expected!
And because I couldn’t stop there, I grabbed some powdered pigment and worked in second layers for even more depth and shine. By the end, my studio looked like a science lab and I had a huge stack of beautiful, one-of-a-kind prints.
