I found a bunch of old Tech Deck skate ramps at a yard sale and immediately got an idea. Why not build Lunkhead Bob his very own miniature skatepark?
From the start, I knew I wanted to build the park out of wood, so I grabbed my tools and got to work. What followed was one disaster after another. Pieces did not fit, cuts went wrong, things broke, and there were definitely a few moments where I wondered why I thought this was a good idea in the first place.
But I persevered!
After a whole lot of cutting, gluing, sanding, problem solving, and probably a few questionable decisions, I finally conquered the chaos and ended up with a pretty cool miniature skatepark for Lunkhead Bob.
Now he has a place to skate, crash, and hopefully avoid getting a concussion. Not bad for a pile of old wood!
