Here are my 2 dresses I made for the Instagram challenge Frugal Frocks 2021, hosted by @Frugalisama and @theyorkshiresewgirl
This was a fun challenge to find free dress patterns and use fabric you already have. I chose to make the kaftan by the @StitchSisters as well as the Cypress dress from @Mood_Fabrics
I made the kaftan in a Lady McElroy cotton lawn fabric I purchased last year is a size 14, shortening the length and raising the neckline by 1".
This is a simple to sew pattern and you can find it here:

The second dress I made was the Cypress dress from Mood Fabrics, who have a blog for instructions. I made a 12/14 and graded out to a 14/16. I made a narrow shoulder adjustment and did alterations to turn this into a sleeveless dress. I lined the skirt with old curtain lining and all buttons etc were from my stash. I made bias binding for both dresses.

Both patterns were free and there was no printing required for the kaftan.
