This is my pattern review of Butterick B6385 and I chose to sew option C with the funnel collar. This is a winter coat which I made in a wool serge felt fabric from Textile Express (see link below). The coat has princess seams and is fully lined. I chose to add horsehair canvas which was hand sewn into the coat's construction. I forgot to tell you in the video but I added a back stay and also a stay at the front, which helps to keep the structure of the coat. I made sleeve heads and added those in to give a fuller shoulder seam. Each buttonhole was hand sewn and the hems were all sewn by hand using a blind stitch. The main construction of this coat was sewn on my vintage Singer 201K (video unboxing of the machine below):
