After spending £9,000 on an engine swap that I now believe was a scam, my Ford Custom Van's 2.2L engine has failed again—less than 6k miles later.
In this video, I explain what went wrong this time, why I’ve completely lost trust in the repair process, and why I’ve made the hard decision not to invest another penny into this van.
Instead, I'm selling it as-is — a potential bargain for someone who knows how to refurbish or replace the engine themselves.
This is the end of the road for me and this van. I’m now moving on and buying a brand new one. Thanks for being with me on this frustrating journey — hopefully, my experience saves you from the same headache.
👉 Let me know in the comments what you would have done! Would you fix it again, or cut your losses?
