Political 'influencers' like Hasan Piker, Ryan Grim, and Owen Jones, handed the right-wing a free win by making insane statements about their need to stay in abject luxury during a 2 day trip to Cuba where they stole the spotlight from the delegations of normal people who brought aid, doing way more harm than good. Now everyone is talking about their gaffes instead of the starvation of the Cuban people by the USA, meaning that they failed to even "raise awareness" of anything but their own greed.
