I left Mexico to come to Colombia. Where am I living in Colombia? Why do we like living in Colombia (exactly this place)?

I'm a Mexican female that left Mexico to start travelling as a digital nomad and my first destination is Colombia. We came to a small city in Colombia called Manizales. We came to Manizales in the summer of 2021 and we found it a tranquil and comfortable city to live in Colombia. But, why are we staying in a non-very popular place in Colombia?
When we decided to travel again, we decided to live in Manizales, Colombia for a few months.
