Didn't we fight these guys before somewhere?
Rules:
- This is a low level run of zombero's hardtype mod: romhacking.net/hacks/3299
- The aim is to keep XP gain as low as possible without affecting my sanity.
- Hard mode, obviously
- No stat boosting items
- All other game mechanics are fair game!
Hardtype changes:
- HP (each): 3000 → 13000
- Raphael: Makarakarn/Diarahan? → Diarama/Mediarama
- Uriel: Beast Eye? → Radiance
- Gabriel: Radiance/Holy Wrath? → Ziodyne/Blight
Bet you didn't think Megidolaon would actually be useful did you? Well, me neither, but this fight caught me unawares. They resist all elements and Raphael now spams the living hell out of party-wide Tetrakarn, which apparently doesn't get nerfed on the enemy side. What a cheat. So yeah, almighty is the way to go.
The main concern is preventing Gabriel from getting turns, since she hits the hardest. Also as we're not running Expel immunity it's best to keep Tetraja up while Raphael is alive so Stasis Blade into Radiance doesn't wipe out Demi. I found that if all the angels are on low health you can get caught in a Mediarama heal loop that you can't out-damage, but if only Raphael is on low health he just uses Diarama on Uriel for some reason, so it's best to focus him down specifically whenever he doesn't shield. Once he's gone monke comes in for a swift finish.
