Fourth video. This is one of my favorite pieces that was done at my County Chorus. Words and music are by Houston Bright, and the guest conductor who picked this out was David Lantz III.
I like this piece for several reasons but most of all because it features the basses. The basses have a unique, lively, catchy part that is practically independent from the rest of the chorus; being a bass it was very fun to sing. Though the instruments for the other vocal parts change from time to time, I kept the basses on hearts so they don't get jumbled with the rest of the ensemble.
I'm experimenting a bit here, and I'm curious to see how people like it. "I Hear a Voice A-Prayin'" was a capella (no piano, only singing) and I had the sheet music, so I figured I'd be able to create it on Mario Paint Composer. I hope you enjoy; please rate and comment.
